At Design In Metal, we specialise in designing and creating bespoke forged metalwork. Using traditional blacksmithing alongside modern fabrication techniques, we create beautiful, functional pieces designed for their surroundings and made to last.

From Design to Forge

Everything we make starts its life as a drawing, whether it’s a pen and paper concept or a full 3D CAD rendering. From there we provide a free quote or estimate and put together a schedule of works before heading to the forge. All installation work is ordinarily carried out by our team to ensure that the same care is taken at every stage of the process.

For larger projects we produce samples to prove concept and finalise the design before going to work in the forge.
